Public Comment Welcome for ACCPD Accreditation Process

Community members are invited to provide feedback as part of the annual assessment for the Athens-Clarke County Police Department. The ACCPD is schedule for an annual web-based and in-person assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation that the department meets professional standards. The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, or CALEA, requires agencies to comply with policies and procedures, administration, operations, and support services. Residents can comment through April 3^rd at the ACC Government Website.
