The fourth suspect wanted in connection with the March 8th shooting that killed a three-year-old Athens child has been arrested.
Athens-Clarke County Police say Dakious Echols was arrested Friday in Brooklyn New York, in a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement operation. Echols is charged with two counts of murder, (malice and felony murder), four counts of aggravated assault, and violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. He is also facing a federal charge for unlawful flight.
