How much do consumers want to know about how their food impacts the environment? Not too much

How much do consumers want to know about the environmental impact of the food they eat? Researchers from the University of Georgia set out to answer this question in two recent studies. Dr. Jessica Holt is an Associate Professor at the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and is a coauthor of the studies. She sat down with WUGA’s Alexia Ridley to discuss what consumers want to know, and how this impacts what they buy.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan.
