The Athens Regional Library has kicked off its annual, free summer reading program. Organizers say library branches are offering opportunities for all ages to explore creativity, develop social skills, learn new things, and have fun while reading.
This year’s theme is “Adventure Beings at Your Library.”
Public Information Officer Darcy Calia and Regional Children's System Coordinator Rebecca Ballard discussed the facility's usual offerings as well as the special events planned for the duration of the summer reads program.
