AthFest 2024 Music and Arts Festival June 21-23

AthFest 2024 gets underway this weekend. The annual, free, three-day festival kicks off Friday, June 21^st and runs through Sunday, June 23^rd.

Last year’s AthFest was the most successful fundraiser in festival history, bringing in $100,000 for AthFest Educates.

Volunteers are still needed and there are a variety of ways to participate. For more information visit AthFest.com.

Mary Joyce is the Executive Director of parent organization, AthFest Educates. She discussed this year's festival with WUGA.

Alexia Ridley

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
