CCSD’s local school governance teams, or LSGTeams, are made up of teachers, staff, parents, community members, and students. The teams, which represent each of the district’s schools, work on solutions to school-specific issues and connect communities and parents to administration and educational outcomes. They are also tasked with making sure schools fulfill obligations set out in the district’s charter with the state.
The district’s LSGTeams will hold meetings for the first time this year beginning on Monday at the District Office at 595 Prince Avenue, from 5-7 pm, and the public is invited.
Some initiatives created by LGSTeams in partnership with the District’s Office of Innovation, Strategy, and Governance include the Hillsman and Clarke Middle Health Centers as well as TEDed Talks.
