Athens-Clarke County Animal Services Department put out a call for dog and cat food donations.

ACC’s Animal Services Department distributes over 8,000 pounds of food to furry community members each year as a part of their food pantry program. They say they need to replenish their shelves. Donations can be made between 11 am and 4 pm Monday through Saturday and 12 pm to 3 pm on Sundays. Food must be unopened or in sealed containers to be accepted, and prescription food is not accepted.
