Blaze at Watkinsville pumpkin farm damages 14 cars

Oconee County Fire Rescue put out a large fire that started over the weekend in the parking lot of a pumpkin farm.

Washington Farms in Oconee County was the site of a large blaze Saturday.

Oconee County Fire Rescue confirmed Monday afternoon that the fire started around 1 pm on Saturday and affected fourteen cars. Seven burned and another seven were damaged by exposure.

The fire is not under investigation and arson is not suspected, though the cause of the blaze is unknown. No injuries were reported.
