Friday is the last day Athens-Clarke County citizens can participate in advance voting.

Almost 37,000 Athens-Clarke County citizens cast ballots during the past three weeks. About 3,000 of those votes were absentee ballots. Most early votes, about 19,000, were cast at Lyndon House.

In 2020, a total of about 24,000 people in Athens-Clarke County voted early in person, and by the end of the election, almost 19,000 people had voted using an absentee ballot.

In 2020, overall turnout in Athens-Georgia was nearly 67%.

This year, Georgians are smashing records. Over 3 million people across the state have voted so far.

Athens-Clarke County voters who plan to cast a ballot on November 5th can check their precincts online at the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page.
