Bon Appetit Y’all: new updates on Southern classics

The holiday season is upon us, the perfect time to pull out classic recipes. Georgians may recognize the best-selling cookbook Bon Appetit, Y’all by Peach State native and chef Virginia Willis, which marries Southern cuisine with French techniques. This year, Willis released an updated version of her cookbook with the University of Georgia Press. She sat down with WUGA’s Emma Auer to discuss what makes this edition different.

Emma Auer is an award-winning reporter who joined WUGA as a full-time producer in 2024. She is also a graduate student in UGA's Romance Languages Department, studying French and Spanish.
