Notification from: Oconee County Water

Oconee County is issuing a boil water advisory due to a disruption in service caused by a broken water main. This boil water advisory will be in effect for approximately 24 hours after water service has been restored.

Water to be used for consumption, cooking, or preparing baby food should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil.

Please call 706-769-3960 during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm, check the County website at www.oconeecountyga.gov or the Oconee County GA Government Facebook page for updates and notification that the boil water advisory has been lifted and water is safe for consumption.

Customers will be notified when the advisory is lifted.
