Suspect arrested in shooting that injured three teens

Shooting update:

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a downtown shooting that left three teens injured. According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, 24-year Tatianna Wilbon of Athens, is charged with three counts each of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Three teens suffered non-life-threatening injuries after an altercation on Sunday, September 28th on East Clayton Street just before 4 am. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the ACCPD.

Three teens were injured by gunfire in an altercation downtown. According to a release from the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, officers broke up a fight in the 100 block of East Clayton Street shortly before 4 o’ clock in the morning on Sunday, September 28th. The group reassembled near Lumpkin Street and officers heard multiple gunshots.

Officers located the teens suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. EMS transported the teens to a local hospital.
