Governor Brian Kemp recently endorsed a proposal for new legislation that would ban governors from limiting religious institutions and practices from gathering during statewide emergencies, including the current COVID-19 pandemic. We explore how this potential act, as well as current levels of enforcement happening at places of worship, impacts attendance and isolates religious individuals.
