Malaria

Chills and a fever are the hallmark signs of the mosquito-borne disease Malaria. While treatable, this tiny parasite continues to infect 220 million people worldwide every year. In this segment, host April Sorrow sits with Dr. Dennis Kyle, Professor and Head of the Center for Tropical Emerging Global Diseases, to discuss what current treatments are available, why these methods are insufficient, and how scientists are working to combat the spread of Malaria.
