Second Person Dies in Stonehenge Shooting

A second person has died after a Monday shooting in the Stonehenge subdivision. Athens-Clarke police say 21-year old Casey Parten of Flowery Branch died as a result of injuries he sustained in that incident. Parten and 16-year old Ashawn Adams, of Athens, were shot while in the 300 block of Marlborough Downs Road. Adams died at the scene.

24-year old Tyler Parten, was also at the scene during the shooting, but he was not injured.

Police are expected to release more details in the coming days.
