This episode of Music from High Cotton is a tribute to Walter Gordon, co-founder of High Cotton Music Hall. Walter was a noted attorney, community supporter and avid blues enthusiast.
The music featured on this program was performed in Walter's honor, just a few days before his passing in July 2023. Performers on this episode are members of the Hot Dam Blues Band and the High Cotton House Band. A special performance by Walter ("Smokestack Willie"), from 2015 closes the show.
