It's Bachtoberfest in Athens! Music of J.S. Bach is on the docket October 9th as Grammy-winning mandolinist Chris Thile visits Hodgson Concert Hall. Thile is best known as a member of the progressive string bands Nickel Creek and Punch Brothers. But he has a wide-ranging solo career as well. In this appearance, it'll be just him and his mandolin, ranging through improvisation, witty asides and yet more Bach.
