Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven's Symphony No. 9

Nathalie Stutzmann directing the orchestra.
UGA Presents
Nathalie Stutzmann

The finale to Beethoven's Ninth was played during the 1996 gala grand opening of the UGA Performing Arts Center. Now the Atlanta Symphony is returning to Athens with the full Beethoven's Ninth, Friday November 14th at Hodgson Concert Hall.

Conductor Nathalie Stutzmann leads four vocal soloists and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus in one of the most celebrated and beloved pieces of classical music. On the first half is a J.S. Bach cantata and his Concerto for Two Violins. But the Beethoven is when things really catch fire. For tickets to the Atlanta Symphony at Hodgson Concert Hall, visit PAC.UGA.EDU or call the box office at (706) 542-4400.
