Star Spangled Classic Set for July 2 at Athens Ben Epps Airport

The Star Spangled Classic is set for Saturday, July 2nd at Athens Ben Epps Airport. The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government is hosting the Independence Day Celebration, with fireworks scheduled to be launched around 9:30 pm. Limited parking locations at the airport and Satterfield Park will open at 7pm. The fireworks will be visible around Lexington Road, at Cherokee Road and Gaines School Road and two county locations. Park rules call for no alcohol, grills, fireworks, or smoking, and for pets to be left at home.
