UGA Expert on Uptick in COVID-19 Cases

Georgia along with the rest of the nation, is seeing an uptick in COVID-19 cases. Health experts say the Eris variant is the most prevalent now. Spencer Fox is a professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Georgia. He discussed the Eris variant, which is the most prevalent currently in the U.S. as well as the more concerning BA.2.86 variant with WUGA.
