A new report from the UGA College of Public Health has a dire warning for Athens-Clarke County and surrounding counties – local hospitals could have more patients than available beds by the end of the month. College of Public Health professor Grace Bagwell joins us to discuss the possibility of an overwhelmed healthcare system.
Chris Shupe was the Program Director of WUGA from 2014-2022. Shupe may be best known as The Athens King, a tribute to Elvis Presley, which often included an 8 piece show band!
