The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will host visioning sessions for Memorial Park. Participants will break into small groups and discuss the future of the park, what they like and dislike, and share experiences that will help inform Park Planners as they develop revitalization concepts for the park.
The first workshop is scheduled for Monday June 19, from 6:30 to 8 pm. The others are Wednesday, June 21 from 6:40 to 8, and Saturday, June 24, from 10 am until 11:30. All sessions are open to the public and will take place in the Memorial Park Recreation Hall located at 293 Gran Ellen Drive.
