We're a week away from the kick off to the 21st AthFest Music and Arts Festival.
The multi-day festival brings thousands of people downtown everyday.
While the outdoor free festival begins on June 23rd, one of the affiliate events, LaughFest starts things off on Tuesday, June 20th at the Georgia Theatre.
Event Coordinator Daniel Roberston says AthFest provides something for everyone, including those who have never missed an event as well as first-timers.

"The first thing is some great music, and it's free, the outdoor concerts are free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday," Robertson said.

Attendees can also about local arts and crafts.

"There are a ton of local artists that are selling their products, and demonstrating what they do, so it's a celebration of different crafts."

And of course there's the Kidsfest stage and the KidsFest stage is what this is really all about."
AthFest Educates raises money for money and arts education in local schools," according to Robertson.

AthFest runs Friday June 23rd  to Sunday, June 25th, but unofficial events start the week before. The event reaise money through the sale of wristbands for the Club Crawl Friday and Saturday nights.
