Steven Strickland Joining the Race for House District 119 Seat

A third candidate is announcing his intention to run for the House District 119 seat. Steven Strickland has 17 years of experience in the telecommunications and software industries. The army veteran says he will champion conservative fiscal policies in hopes of attracting high-growth employers to the Georgia. Strickland has yet to publicly announcement a political party affiliation, but plans to do so before filing with the state.

He joins Marcus Wiedower and Tom Lord in the battle for the seat vacated by Representative Chuck Williams, who Governor Nathan Deal appointed to head the Georgia Forestry Commission.
