Quiet Week of Qualifying for Clarke County Board of Education

A quiet week of qualifying for Clarke County Board of Education, at least so far.

While competition is high for seats on the ACC Commission, few candidates have qualified to run for Clarke County Board of Education. Incumbent Greg Davis will run again in district 1, while Imani Scott-Blackwell has qualified to run in district 5, a seat currently held by Sarah Ellis, and Lakeisha Gantt has qualified to run in district 7, a seat currently held by Carol Williams. Additionally, incumbent Solicitor General C.R. Chisholm will run for a fourth term.
