The 22nd Annual AthFest Music and Arts Festival gets underway in June and AthFest Educates has announced the full lineup for this year’s Festival. The free event includes three days of music on three outdoor stages, an Artist market, KidsFest, and beer gardens.
Booking chair Troy Aubrey says there is something for everyone.
“Somebody is going to like something that we’re booking at some point,” according to Aubrey. “We do a lot of different styles of music it’s not just indie rock, or jam bands, or funk music, or whatever, it is all over the map. I love that AthFest is able to showcase that variety to appeal to a large audience.”
Festival goers can also purchase wristbands for the Club Crawl Friday and Saturday nights.
“All the wristband sales, everything we get from sponsorship money, to the money that we make on our food and beverage sales and the wristband sales, all goes to support AthFest Educates which is our nonprofit. It’s basically given to Athens-Clarke County school music programs.”
Wristbands also provide discounts on many affiliated events. The Festival takes place June 22 through 24th.
