Public Meetings & Online Survey for Input on Clayton Street Improvements

athensclarkecounty.com

The ACC government is holding public meetings on the Clayton Street Improvement project. The meetings are seeking input on the streetscape design phase. Those attending will have the opportunity to choose features important to them through a visual preference survey.

The drop-in meetings are Thursday, August 9 from 2 to 4 pm and the following Monday, August 13 from 6 to 8 pm. Both will be held in the Michael Brothers Building Mezzanine at 320 East Clayton Street.

An online survey will be posted after the first meeting and will be available online through Augusts 17 at www.accgov.com/clayton.

Crews have completed the first block for the Pre-Dig phase approximately two weeks ahead of schedule. County crews will return in January to install stormwater pipes.

Work on block two of the project, from College to N. Jackson, is scheduled to start Augusts 6 and end September 21.
