Pepper Spray Forces Georgia Gwinnett College to Cancel Classes

Georgia Gwinnett College

Classes were canceled Thursday, August 30, and a building was evacuated at Georgia Gwinnett College after a student used pepper spray in the building.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports that a student was testing out the pepper spray in the building. At 1:35 p.m., the college sent out an alert to students telling them to evacuate Building H due to an “unknown chemical” being sprayed.

So far, there are no reports of injuries. Classes will resume Friday, August 31 as normal.
