The Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia is hosting an event called Museum Mix on Thursday, Sept. 27.
The event will be held from 8 p.m.-11 p.m., and all of the galleries at the museum will be free and open to the public. In addition to refreshments, there will be music by DJ .53, otherwise known as AC Carter, a sculpture student at the Lamar Dodd School of Art. She will be blasting 80s post-punk music as well as the latest hits.
Exhibitions featured at Museum Mix include “For Home and Country: World War I Posters from the Blum Collection,” “One Heart, One Way: The Journey of a Princely Art Collection” and “Vernacular Modernism: The Photography of Doris Ulmann.”
