DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia man accused of hitting and killing a pedestrian with a car has been arrested.
Decatur police said in a statement that 39-year-old Omari Young was charged Monday with vehicular homicide and hit-and-run in connection with the February death of Anthony Lingoes. Police say the arrest came after an “extensive investigation.”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Lingoes was struck after leaving the Trackside Tavern at about 3 a.m.
It’s unclear if Young has a lawyer who could comment.
