A variety of graduation rates at The University of Georgia have increased, moving closer to academic goals for the institution.
The four-year completion rate has increased two percentage points to 68%, and 75% of students graduate in four years plus one semester.
For comparison, the four-year graduation rate is 69% at “UGA’s highly selective aspirational institutions,” and 49% at other SEC institutions.
President Jere Morehead said, “It is exciting to see the results of several UGA initiatives to increase student success building on one another to produce record-setting outcomes for our students.”
“These achievements also reflect the dedication of faculty and staff across campus to helping our students attain their goals.”
Additionally, UGA’s record 86% six-year completion rate exceeds the 76% average held by peer institutions.
