As part of celebrating 30 years in existence, The Ark in Athens is hosting a fundraising benefit concert this week. The Rock the Ark concert gets underway Thursday at the Foundry from 7 to 10 pm.
Lucy Hudgens is director of the organization.
“We’re super proud of what we do, being around for 30 years is definitely something worth celebrating so we’d love to share that time with you on Thursday night,” Hudgens said. “Terrell has done a wonderful job getting that concert together, it will be ab absolute blast.”
Otis Redding the 3ed, Kara Waters and Sam Burchfield will be joined by local musicians for the evening.
