The Athens Neighborhood Health Center will be celebrating the opening of a new pharmacy at 402 McKinley Drive on Feb. 19.
All citizens are invited to attend the Grand Opening, where Mayor Kelly Girtz and other politicians will preside over the ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
ANHC’s pharmacy is federally subsidized, allowing for primary care patients at ANHC who are in need of expensive prescriptions to get them at a reduced price.
Tours of the pharmacy will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m.
