Community members are invited to attend event Wednesday at the Lyndon House. President-Elect Kevin Bates and Executive Director Tommy Valentine with the Heritage Foundation will present their SPLOST proposal for the property.

It includes developing Beech haven into a public park space that incorporates the natural surroundings, enhancing existing facilities and incorporating new amenities.

The ACHF is working with ACC to plan for the future use of the property.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. It takes place from noon to 1 pm  at the Lyndon House. The event is free and open to the public. Those attending are encouraged to bring their lunch.
