Athens Cultural Affairs Commission is asking for feedback on the SPLOST 2020 project proposal to create an art walk on Jackson Street. The deadline for feedback is Sunday, March 3.
The goals of the art walk would be to transform underutilized and aging city infrastructure into community gathering spaces, provide access to art for everyone 24/7, serve underprivileged populations, strengthen connections between community facilities and downtown businesses and create an innovative, creative new destination for residents and tourists.
