The 2019 Spring African Studies lecture will feature Niyi Osundare, a professor of English at the University of New Orleans, and will be on Tuesday, March 5 at 3 p.m. in the Special Collections Library.
He will be delivering a lecture titled “The Dire in the Diaspora: African Re-Locations and the Perils of Displacement”.
Osundare will also be part of a poetry reading at Cine the day before the lecture on March 4 at 7:30 p.m.
