Barrow Sheriff Releases Photos of Vehicle of Interest after Two Deaths

Barrow County Sheriff's Office

Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith’s Office is investigating the deaths of two elderly residents. Monday morning just before 9:30, Barrow County deputies were sent to the scene at a home in Winder regarding both residents being found deceased. A family member found the bodies of 70-year old Willard Ron Hess and 72-year old Dorothy Hess.

According to a media release from Major Ryan Sears with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Criminal Investigations Division processed the residence, along with a home across the street which belongs to the family member who discovered the couple.

The release states that residence was processed as a precautionary measure because investigators believe there were two scenes involved. The GBI assisted with the processing.
