WUGA Program Director Chris Shupe, freelance journalist Allison Salerno and Vicki Michaelis of UGA's Grady College had two 1st place wins at the Georgia Associate Press awards this weekend. Allison's and Chris' award (Best Feature Reporting) was for the story about the Georgia Conflict Center and Chris and Vicki won (Best Sports Feature) for "The Other Side of the G".
Over 250 individual entries were submitted in this year's statewide contest. WUGA competed in the large market category.
