The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a Braselton man.
According to a release from Sheriff Janis Mangum, 62-year old Allen Bredig called 911 Friday evening, to report a shooting.
Bredig told 911 he was the shooter and the victim was 52-year old William Halbman.
Bredig said the victim came to his home and an argument started which led to the shooting.
The GBI was called in to work the crime scene. Bredig was taken to the Jackson County Jail. He is charged with murder and aggravated assault.
