Detectives with the Athens-Clarke County Police Department arrested 19-year old Kevin Sorrells Wednesday morning on one count of Terroristic Threats.
According to a media release from the department, investigators learned Sorrells made a comment on a video game chat forum that he was going to blow up a school and use firearms to shoot up a school.
The ACCPD obtained a search warrant for Sorrells’ residence. Detectives reported that no evidence of any imminent threat was recovered during the search.
