The GBI is investigating after a body was found in a lake Wednesday.
According to a media release, the body of a white male was discovered near 2323 Booth Circle in Winder. It appeared to have been in the water for several days.
The was sent to the GBI Crime Lab in Decatur. Identification and the cause of death are pending lab results.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
The GBI, Barrow County Sheriff’s Office and Barrow County Coroner’s Officer are investigating.
