With the death of blueswoman Beverly Watkins earlier this month, WUGA’s Jimmy Sanders, host of “Music from High Cotton,” offers us a remembrance.

Jimmy Sanders has been general manager of WUGA since 2011. He has worked in broadcasting for over 40 years and has produced news, documentary, music, sports and special events programs for radio and television. Jimmy is a graduate of Grady College.
