Gov. Kemp Names Twenty Appointments

Former Athens Judge Regina Quick is among the 20 people recently appointed by Governor Kemp to serve on various boards, associations, commissions and councils. Quick was appointed to the Georgia Commission on Child Support.

Quick represented House District 117 in the Georgia General Assembly from 2013-2017.

In 2019, Rep. Quick earned the Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service.

Other area appointees include Vincent Dooley of Athens, to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

In additon, Dr. Jeffrey Hackleman of Bishop, to the Georgia Board of Optometry.

The swearing-in ceremonies were held October 24.
