Windy, rainy weather Thursday caused outages for some Jackson EMC members. As of 2 p.m., 2,230 members were without power in Banks (6), Barrow (56), Gwinnett (1,579), Jackson (342), Hall (174) and Lumpkin (73) counties.
Line crews have been dispatched, and they are working to restore these outages as quickly as conditions and safety allow.
