Jackson County Animal Shelter in Immediate Need of Food

The Jackson County Animal Shelter is asking the community to help feed shelter animals. According to a media release, the facility is in immediate need of dog and cat food.

Supplies are needed for adult dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens.

Donations can be dropped off at the Animal Shelter located at 29 Galilee Church Road or at the Historic Courthouse, at 85 Washington Street.

Shelter hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am until 4 pm, Friday and Saturday from 9 until 1 pm.

Donations can be dropped off at the courthouse Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm.
