Barrow County Educator Accused of Child Molestation

A Barrow County teacher is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with students. According to a media release from the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office, 35- year old Heather Kishun was arrested this morning after a reported incident at her home involving students from Apalachee High School.

According a complaint filed, Kishun was involved in a sexual relationship with several students that attended Apalachee High School.

Kishun was a Barrow County School System employee at the time of the incident, but there is no information that any inappropriate contact occurred at any schools.

Kishun was charged with Aggravated Child Molestation, Child Molestation, Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to Persons below the Legal Age, and Sexual Assault against a Person Enrolled in School.
