Authorities have issued arrests warrants for a suspect wanted in connection with a February 23rd rape case.  According the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, investigators obtained warrants for 19-year old Dionicio Guadarrama, from Centerville, Georgia, for Rape, Aggravated Sexual Battery and Sexual Battery.

Investigators are actively searching for Guadarrama, but believe he may have fled the area. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the ACCPD at 706-546-5900 or call 911.

Authorities have released an updated photo of the suspect.

Authorities say he may look a few years older than the picture they released.

A 20-year old UGA student was raped in a car after she accepted a ride from two men. The incident happened off campus. She was seen being carried on the back of a suspect before entering the vehicle and being driven away.

Police say anyone who has been victimized by sexual assault or child abuse can call the Cottage Crisis Hotline at 706-353-1912.
