ACC Gov Resource Page for Businesses

A new page with resources compiled by the Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Department is now available and also linked through www.accgov.com/coronavirus. It will be updated regularly.

Local Business Impact Survey

To best assist businesses in Athens-Clarke County during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACC Economic Development Department is conducting a survey for business leaders to report ongoing effects of the pandemic on their workforce and business operations.

This survey takes approximately 7 minutes to complete and will help inform local leaders on issues you are facing during this pandemic. All responses will remain anonymous and will be reported in aggregate. The survey is available through www.accgov.com/cvbusinesssurvey.            

Business Occupation Tax Certificate Deadline Moved from April 1 to June 1

A new order will be released later this weekend, but we wanted to let you know first that the current deadline of April 1 for Athens-Clarke County Business Occupation Tax Certificates (commonly referred to as a business license) has been moved to June 1.

Establishments Licensed for Beer/Wine On-Premises Sales Can Now Sell Unopened Beer & Wine for Take Out

Per a new order signed yesterday, establishments licensed in Athens-Clarke County to sell beer and/or wine on premises can now sell unopened beer and wine for off-premises take out consumption for duration of COVID-19 local emergency. Read the local order.
