Goodwill of North Georgia to Stop Accepting Donated Items

The Goodwill of North Georgia will stop collecting donated goods this weekend. According to a post on the organization’s website, Saturday, April 18 is the last day donations will be accepted at any of its locations. Goodwill asks that anyone planning to make donations do so during their business hours Saturday from 10 am until 4 pm.

Goodwill has been inundated with items as people sheltering-in place clear out items. The nonprofit asks that donors hold on to their items until the stores can safely reopen. Meanwhile, Goodwill requests that those who would like to support its mission to consider making a financial contribution so that the agency can help area residents currently out of work.
