Georgia COVID-19 Cases Top 20,000

The Georgia Department of Public health says there are 20,740 cases of coronavirus infections in the state. The number those hospitalized is nearing 4,000 and there have been 836 deaths in Georgia.

Fulton County has more than 22-hundred cases and 84 deaths, followed by DeKalb with 1,587 cases and 30 deaths, Dougherty County has 1,468 cases and 107 deaths.

Clarke County cases now number 116 with 13 deaths. Elsewhere in the area, Barrow County has 101 cases and three deaths, Jackson County has 63 cases, one death Oconee County has 53 cases, Oglethorpe County has 37 cases with three deaths and Madison County has 18 cases and one death.
